This starts with protecting the rule of law and fighting corruption, which weakens trust and wastes resources. For me, one clear way to do this is by strengthening Europol, so it can help Member States crack down on organised crime and cross-border corruption. I believe Europe’s economy can thrive by supporting small businesses, cutting red tape, and making public procurement more transparent and efficient, particularly in key areas like defence.

The European Sport Model is a great example of how we can bring people together—it promotes unity, fairness, and inclusion. I want to apply this same spirit to other areas of European life, creating stronger connections across borders. By investing in clean energy, digital tools, and a competitive defence industry, we can ensure Europe is ready for future challenges. For example, I support joint EU defence projects to make procurement more efficient and reduce our reliance on outside suppliers. My goal is simple: a Europe that protects its citizens, creates opportunities, and leads by example.

As Vice Chair of the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO), I am committed to strengthening the EU’s single market to benefit businesses and citizens alike. My focus is on ensuring the free movement of goods and services, protecting consumer rights, and harmonising standards across Member States. I am working to simplify regulations, improve digital market integration, and promote fair competition. A key priority for me is tackling barriers to trade and advancing legislation on public procurement and defence. By reducing market fragmentation and fostering innovation, I aim to create a more resilient, inclusive, and dynamic European economy. Through effective oversight and collaboration, I strive to ensure that EU laws are implemented fairly and deliver real benefits to people across Europe.

CULT
As a member of the Committee on Culture and Education (CULT), I am committed to fostering a vibrant cultural landscape, strengthening media freedom, and protecting creativity in the digital age. I believe the European Sport Model, with its emphasis on unity, cohesion, and fairness, is a powerful tool for bringing people together, and I aim to promote its values across Europe.
Protecting media freedom and tackling disinformation are essential to our democracy. I will work to ensure the swift implementation of the European Media Freedom Act and support initiatives like the Maison du MédiaLab, which empower journalists and combat misinformation.
I am also focused on the fight against online piracy, which threatens Europe’s creative industries. By advocating for stronger enforcement of intellectual property rights and supporting platforms for legal content, I aim to protect the livelihoods of artists and creators. Through CULT, I will help shape policies that preserve Europe’s cultural diversity, empower its citizens, and promote a future where creativity and free expression thrive.

As a member of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice, and Home Affairs (LIBE), I am focused on upholding the rule of law, protecting fundamental rights, and ensuring a secure and fair Europe. The rule of law is the foundation of our Union, and I am dedicated to strengthening its enforcement through mechanisms like “smart conditionality,” which ensures EU funds reach local actors even when national governments fail to meet democratic standards.
I also see Europol as a key player in protecting Europeans from transnational threats, such as organised crime and terrorism. I will work to enhance its resources and capabilities, enabling better coordination between Member States. This will allow us to fight crime effectively, tackle cross-border corruption, and safeguard citizens’ rights.
Through the LIBE Committee, I will champion initiatives to strengthen judicial cooperation, uphold media freedom, and ensure that every Member State adheres to the core values that define our Union. My goal is to create a Europe where justice, security, and democracy are protected for all.
